The study on the herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ)

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective£ºSince Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) is of practical use, the Korean medical doctors and students study this book in large quantities. In order to establish the foundation of Korean herbal medicines and herbology, I translated and deeply considered the herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) and compared this part with Bonchobiyo(Üâõ®Ýáé©).
Method£ºAt first, I translated the herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) and I analyzed the point of differences between Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) and Bonchobiyo(Üâõ®Ýáé©). And I estimated the special features of the herb part(õ®Ý») of this book.
Result£º1. The herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) consists of six volumes. The herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) is from the first volume to sixth volume. 2. The herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) is made up of eight parts and they are mountain herbs(ߣõ®×¾), aromatic herbs(Û»õ®×¾), herbs in the damp land(?õ®×¾), poisonous herbs(Ô¸õ®×¾), vines(ØÀõ®×¾), water herbs(â©õ®×¾), herbs on the rock(à´õ®×¾), hepatic herbs(÷Ä×¾). 3. The herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) was based on Bonchobiyo(Üâõ®Ýáé©) written by Wangang(èÜäé) and the herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) was too many by 41 herbal medicines in comparison with the herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchobiyo(Üâõ®Ýáé©). 4. The 20 Korean medicines of the herb part(õ®Ý») were not members of the herb part(õ®Ý») and I thought that those medicines are Korean medicines of the tree part(ÙÊÝ»).
Conclusion£ºThe herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) is of practical use for Korean medical doctors and students with a major in Korean medicine. But, we should deeply study the herb part(õ®Ý») of Bonchojongshin(Üâõ®ðôãæ) in order to practical use.
